Fit Right Northwest Running & Walking Store is presenting their 6th Annual Lacamas Lake Event!
"This year’s event will be a ½ marathon & 4-mile walk and run. The ½ marathon course follows the same 10-mile course as previous years with an additional “finger-loop” along Camas Meadows Drive. The 4-mile race is a complete loop that takes you on both road and compact dirt trail through the gorgeous Round Lake Park.
This year’s event is shaping up to be our biggest event ever. We will have lots of sponsors that will be onsite and providing discount coupons for products and services for all race participants.
New this year is our inflatable jungle gym for both adults and kids. We’ll have an Obstacle Course, Four Sport Zone and a Velcro Wall. We’ll also have a clothing check this year for all participants.
Finally, this course is also Baby Jogger Friendly. Therefore, please sign up and walk and run these two beautiful courses with your little munchkins!!
Event Overview!
If you haven’t participated in this event before, then you are in for a real treat! This event has been praised for its level of organization and beautiful scenery! The races start and finish at Camas High School, which is only ~25 minutes from Downtown Portland. This venue provides an amazing atmosphere to hold the “expo” portion of the event with its forested background and overlooking view of Lacamas Lake!
The scenic, moderately challenging and accurate courses show off the beauty of both Lacamas Lake (1/2 marathon) and Round Lake (4-mile), and offer plenty of aid stations to keep you from “bonking” before the finish. Medals will be provided to every finisher. Also, when you get back, fruit, bottled water, bagels and food from the Old Spaghetti Factory will be at the expo. There are a lot of choices in the metro area for races. Come see why this event continues to grow by 25% each year and is viewed as one of the most beautiful ½ marathon and 4-mile courses in the region!
Playground for both adults and KIDS. Our friends form Putt Putt To Go, will have an inflatable playground for all to enjoy!
Parents, let your kids play while you run or enjoy the fun for yourself!
Parents!
Don’t forget to bring your kids. Our kid 1k has doubled in size every year helping to make our Lacamas Lake Event a family affair!
This course is now Baby Jogger Friendly. Therefore, please sign up and walk and run this beautiful course with your little munchkins!!
Headphones are allowed this year, but Dogs will not be allowed on the course due to insurance restrictions. Thank you in advance for helping to make the Lacamas Lake ½ Marathon & 4-mile Walk and Run a safe and enjoyable event!
